The Down There Affair - Toronto

It's time to get LOUD!

In 2003, my mom asked me to walk with her in the very first Weekend to End Breast Cancer. We fundraised for Princess Margaret Hospital in support of her friend Marnie, a breast cancer survivor. That event grew into a movement. It raised millions of dollars, changed the conversation around breast cancer, and transformed countless lives.

This year, I'm paying that experience forward.

I've asked my daughter, Maggie, and my son, Miles, to walk with me in the very first Down There Affair—a bold new event supporting women's "below the belt" health. This walk is the beginning of a movement to GET LOUD about women's health—from menstruation to menopause and everything in between. It's time to turn heads, open eyes, break the stigma, and invest in the health issues that affect half the population.

Every woman will experience periods. Many will navigate conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, infertility, or menopause. Yet so many of these experiences remain misunderstood, underfunded, and under-discussed. How can something that affects virtually every woman still be shrouded in silence?

Join Maggie, Miles, and me as we take part in this inaugural, unforgettable event. Together, we'll make some noise, shake up downtown Toronto, and help fund groundbreaking women's health research at Mount Sinai Hospital, Sinai Health.

Let's help start a movement that future generations will look back on the same way we look back on that very first Weekend to End Breast Cancer.

If you'd like to support our team by walking with us or making a donation, we'd be so grateful. Every step—and every dollar—helps move women's health forward.
