I'm walking in my undies because women's health deserves to be seen, heard, and funded.

After living with Stage IV endometriosis and experiencing years of pain, multiple surgeries, and the physical and emotional challenges that came with it, I know firsthand how important awareness, research, and support are. Too many people suffer in silence or wait far too long for answers.

Stepping outside my comfort zone for this walk is nothing compared to what so many women face every day. If sharing my story and walking in my undies helps spark conversations and raises funds for women's health research, then it's absolutely worth it.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated and supported me so far! ❤️ Your generosity truly means so much to me.

I am so excited to say that I have officially reached my personal fundraising goal! 🎉 But we are not done yet!

Now it is time to focus on our team goal. My team, The Bare Necessities, is getting SO close, and I would absolutely love for us to not only reach our goal, but surpass it! 💪❤️

There is still time to donate, and every dollar truly makes a difference.

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women. Yet so many of us spend years being dismissed and told that our pain is normal or just part of being a woman. I know this firsthand. I was undiagnosed and dismissed for far too long, and I often think about how different my quality of life could have been if I had been listened to sooner.

That is why this fundraiser means so much to me. The money raised supports much needed research and care for women’s health, including the Pelvic Pain Clinic and the Weston and O'Born Centre for Mature Women's Health at Sinai Health. From our first period through menopause and beyond, women deserve to be heard, believed, and given the care they deserve.

We have been waiting long enough.
